"Hi! my name is Maeve!!! I am 12, I live in Inverloch and I love to surf. I love wish pixies and Lola Dolls. So I designed Waratah. I got the inspiration for Waratah because with all the BLM protests going on I thought that designing a wish pixie that represents equality in all people would be a good message to put in a cute little wish pixie. She is also inspired by the aboriginal art and culture in our country. She sends the big message that no matter your culture, gender, race, religion or the colour of your skin you are just as equal. I hope you love Waratah as much as I love her! :) " - Maeve Wilkinson
November also celebrates Naidoc Week in Australia, so 'Waratah' also recognises that First Nations people have occupied and cared for this continent for over 65,000 years.
